President's Message

"Ribbons, Reins & Rosebuds and so much more", is our theme this year. This idea is woven through all of the divisions and there are special classes that support this concept. There are new classes that challenge the interest, talent and ingenuity of exhibitors of all ages. Check out the Vegetables for some of new classes. All of the conveners are particularly interested in offering opportunities for our younger participants at our Fair.

Another goal of the Fair is to showcase the products produced by the diverse interests and talents of our local people. Take the time to visit the demonstrations, displays and speak with the exhibitors who are always willing to share their enthusiasm for their particular passions.

We are grateful to the volunteers, firms and community groups that support and participate in our Fair. This community venture results from the collective efforts of local people who come together for a common cause. Our exhibitors enter outstanding exhibits that elicit wonderment and admiration from our patrons. A typical comment you may hear is that, "I didn't know she could do that" as the person is looking at a particular exhibit. Well you also can do, and the Fair would like you to rise to the challenge to participate next year. If there is no class that allows you the opportunity to participate then speak with a convener and one will be available for your creation next year.

Enjoy the Fair and renew old acquaintances.
